Home Sports Concordia Dance Team Narrowly Misses Victory to Doane

The Concordia dance team competed against the Doane Dance team Wednesday, Jan. 27 on their home court and just narrowly missed the victory.

The competition proved valuable for the Bulldogs who improved on their season best for the year with 99 out of 120 points. The Doane team just Concordia with 99.9 to take home the win for the evening.

“Going into CIT, we are going to keep working on technique and synchronization,” dance team coach Heather Duff said.

The Bulldog dancers will compete in Chicago on Friday and then perform on Saturday as well. The Bulldogs are excited to take on an out of state school and see how they stack up against the competition.

“We are really proud of how far they’ve come this year and we are excited to see how the rest of the competition season goes,” assistant coach Ali Schuerman said.
